Jupiter : We have Impact

Jupiter : We have Impact

Soft wind tonight
As I lay on my back
Knees half bent
The only way to do it right.

Eyes glued to the best station-
The stars
Watching airplanes soar
High up there, dreams with animation.

Slow breathing
I want to soak it all in
The quiet, pure nature of
Untainted being.

No cars to mar my concerto
No shouts to make me grimace
Just me and the universe
The opera to my cello

My shoes against the shingles
I don't mind to be punished
So long as I can watch as
Life and truth commingle.

I feel my heart beat
In time with the crickets
Small and large
We all need the heat

And here am I, sharing it
With all under lunar light
My mind is a slow explosion
With which my soul is lit

Closing my eyes I almost
Imagine that corruption is a dream
The power lines are all down
Gandhi and I, we toast.

I smile, contented grin,
As guitars narrate my
Realizations of unity
And I watch Day begin.

About
I'm 33 now, much more settled into myself, and getting back to it again. The previous about me is gonna stay for now, since it's still somewhat accurate and I need some time to figure out what to say .. more..
