Scaffold

Crack by crack  
I begin to fracture,
Seeking a way to rebuild my structure.
Beam by beam
Try to construct a frame
To guard and uphold my internal  flame.  
Drip by drip
Keep feeding it more fuel
For embers will glow brighter than a jewel  
Tick by tick
Watch as time elapses
The scaffold falls, the structure collapses.

First let me compliment your bravery, writing in English when it is not your native language is a very hard thing to do. We have so many words that sound alike but have different meaning as well as an ever changing number of slang words so I know you are a brave person. Interesting concept, this may be the first time I have ever seen a poem with this topic which says you are very creative and have a good imagination. The word choice used creates strong imagery. I'm going through some hard stuff right now, and I could really connect with the feeling of being overwhelmed and of being unstable that was conveyed in this piece. I enjoyed reading this, great job!
