My Darling

My Darling

A Poem by Mysty Rayn
"

For my little one. She is with her grandparents and I miss her so much.

"

You are a part of me

My life

An existence

Far beyond my dreams

I am nothing without you

Yet you are so much without me

I see me in you

Strong

Independent

Mighty

Yet so little

My love for you

Is greater then any words

You’re like an angel

Sent to save me

From the hell I had created

You are a longing

A need

I never knew I had

My darling

You are perfect

Always to me

there is no love like that of a mother for her child. it is truly unconditional and untainted. they become a constant in our lives; any memory of life without them fades into nothingness as we can't imagine not having their light with us. how much you love your little angel while she is gone and your love for her shines through here.

This is so adorable. Nothing like the love of a child, knowing that
they are really apart of of your heart, soul. AD

Beautiful. I love these lines:

"I am nothing without you
Yet you are so much without me
I see me in you"

So you live on in her, it seems, although you state previously that you are nothing without her. She is a part of you and therefore YOU matter too, by default. This is sad, but a lovly tribute to the bond between mother and child. My son lived with my parents the year he was 9/10 while I finished school and it was SO hard. Hang in there, and keep writing to get those feelings out. A great poem that your daughter will be so touched by when she's older.

What an amazing poem!!! When she gets older I bet she will love to read that ... I know I would if my Mom ever wrote anything like that.

What sweet sentiment of the bond between mother and child... it's one of the greatest gifts this world has ever seen and you expressed it with such wonderful sentiment and divine love.

This is beautiful Mysty! Awww.... the love we have for our children, and the joy and healing they bring when they're so little and innocent. The only true unconditional love that I think we ever know for certain.

Lovely !!
