A Chapter by NoArrangedMarriage

Pocahontas and Kocoum find themselves falling in love.

“He’s so handsome,” Mattachanna told Pocahontas.

“He is,” said Pocahontas. The chief was giving him red bear claws and that type of honoring stuff.

Pocahontas ran up and hugged him. He hardly noticed. He just looked at the crowd.

Why? Was he " looking at yet another lady?!

Even at the canoe ride, Pocahontas thought of handsome Kocoum, who she secretly called ‘Koko.’

She imagined:

Hands touching, leaves swirling, romantic making taking over. Beauty…

Pocahontas looked at him back at the tepee. “Handsome,” she said quietly.

The next day, they kissed at the waterfall.

When Kocoum came by, Pocahontas hid that she only had one stalk of corn in her basket. She ate the rest!

They remembered their childhood, and had fun talking together. They were in love.
