Short Short Story

(Prompt: Write about someone with a fake super-power. Time taken to write: 5 minutes.) I kind of forgot the word "fake" in this prompt and just went with an actual superpower. Oopsie.

"
Day 32: I'm sweating so, so much. Every five minutes I need to go powder my nose. A desperate attempt to keep up this facade. It's July 13. 45 degrees Celsius outside and if the mascara runs all the way down my cheekbones it's over.
Jeremy couldn't see me like that.
Angelica can't see me like that.
What would Mr. Hart think?
A quick check in my pocket mirror. Holding it together, Lucy. Just keep holding it together.
A creak to my left. His door opens, and he walks out. The most dazzling example of a human being that has ever dreamed of gracing this planet with his presence. He pops a bubble of gum and my heart bursts into confetti. Keep it together. He shrugs on his beige backpack, brushing a lock of glittering blonde hair away from his dark eyes, pointed nose and perfectly square jaw. I'm going to melt. Hold it all f*****g together. Here he comes.
"Hey Georgie." His name rolls off my tongue like smooth chocolate. He looks over at me, still a little groggy from only having woken up ten minutes ago (I know, I watched).
"Oh. Hi Lucy." He yawns, giving me a casual wave and turning down the block.
Warning, warning. Melting in progress.
He disappears down the block and finally, Jesus Christ finally, I melt. The mascara is running , the sweat is washing over me like a smelly, gross shower. I look in the mirror. Wrinkles outline my face. My fingers are prunes. I reach for the dentures in my purse and slap them in, hurriedly turning around and walking down the block.
I can't keep doing this.

Yes I actually timed this for 5 minutes. No I haven't edited it since. I think...it's alright like this. What do you guys think?

Also I searched up 'extremely hot boy' on Google and this picture was one of the first results. So that's what ya get.

Nice! Writing on the run is liberating. Trying to keep up with the typos adds to the fun!
