“Today is a good day to die”

The words roll from your lips so easily

Like the poison from the bottle lying next to you

I watch and listen as tears roll down my cheeks

Your soul slowly leaving this world

Leaving me to mingle with the souls of the past.

 

Why did you do this to me

Why did you leave me all alone again

Why can’t you see you were needed and loved

Why can’t you see that I needed you the most

I can’t sleep at night with your death in my vision

It’s all I see anymore

There’s no color left in my world

No joy

No light

Only the darkness of a perpetual twilight

 

I don’t want to be alone anymore

There is no joy in my world

No love in my world

My world of pure loneliness and hatred

My world of pure sadness and madness

My world of just me

Just me and my darkness
