Cry For Help

A while back I had a friend commit suicide. And I finally was able to write about it, even though in a cryptic way.

And as you grow older

Your tears flow faster

And faster

Like the intense beating of your ever silent heart

For only in this deafening silence

Can your truths be found

All the scars you created

To subside your emotional guilt

Hurt those around you

But not you yourself

For we will lament your loss

And listen to these broken hearts

Beat louder and louder

As this time passes by

And all the while

As you’re watching from above

You realize people did care

You were not alone

You should have listened

And not drown in your greed

The greed that caused you to commit this crime

OH! And what a vile crime it was

Not a simple little even

But only one in a complex chain

That will only hurt those around you even more

For in this ever silent room

Can your cry for help

Finally be heard

Sad :( Very sad write. I hate it when i hear this kind of tragic news. And it saddens me even more when a girl is involved in it. My heart just explodes everywhere. This touched me a lot. Godspeed to ur friend, and my deepest sympathies to you and everyone, man. That's gotta be really tuff :(

i really like your poem. sorry about your friend. sometimes things like that just happen. and it is a good thing that you can write about things that hurt. thtis what i do. i write when i am stressed out or just mad. i am also trying to write when i am happpy. but is kind of working. well great poem.

I have lost students to suicide and the loss is close to unbearable. You wrote well and I hope it was a catharsis for you.
