Initiate of Light

Initiate of Light

Always the light was craved by lid-capped mind

A glass ceiling of transparent fire

Crown-chakra of my lightness of being

Unbearable and ethereally trimmed

Like a haircut of my spirit’s thirst

Always the chief desire was the immaculate

A constant stream of adoration

For the stuff of the higher powers

The mystical neuro-transmitter

Ananda of dazzling cosmic thirst

Transcendent urge to escape limitation

The urge of soul’s boundless mystery

Flecked with flame, pure consciousness

The thrust into a seeing from above

An impersonal scope of Brahma’s reign

Always the light, marrying the

Soil to the errant skies, the stars themselves

Digested as if from Egyptian priests.

Very interesting. I'm absolutely ion love how you put all these mythological elements/characters. Mysterious and beautiful. Good job.

I will go to great lengths to encourage writers of Asian origin. Of these, Indian are my favorite. They have a beauty of sentiment that is not replicated in english. I do not like to leave a trace.. more..
