The Girl Who Could Not Care

She sat across from me refusing to look at me..

-He sat across from me...I couldn't look into his deceiving eyes-

I tried to talk but she would not reply

-His lies came spilling out and I would not let them get to me...again-

I stare at her face looking at the lips I once kissed

-I feel his gaze on me, and where it used to send shivers of excitement through me now all it does is make me feel like another one of his victims-

I reach out to her attempting to heal the rift

-He reaches out to me I do nothing but look towards the sun, wishing it would burn out my eyes so I would never have to see his smile again-

Even as I touch her shoulder she does nothing but look away and that's when I know that she's gone

-I will never love again-
