A poem of tragedy and despair

Lets remember when I begged you to be mine.

Let's go back to red wine.

Infinite sorrows were all that we trailed,

Leaving us broken and shocked until we thought we couldn't prevail.

I loved you with the reddest of love

You grieved me like the loss of a shrub

We was now I

and I was now done

What is this web we have spun?

I forgive,

You curse and shout

I let you in,

You just pushed me out

My billows of fabric fall past my waist

don't look now,

i must hesitate

Your love is a spell I cannot break

It won't leave me be

my soul you do take

tears on the floor and lust on my lips

all that is left of you is prints on my hips

tell the torturous memories screaming your name

that it is time for them to be cast from me

a shallow corpse emotionless I remain

So my dear wave to me from the cliff

Before I jump

deep and swiftly into the abyss
