BLISSFUL SUMMER

A poem about the beauty and serenity of summer.

I gazed and gazed at the blue sky

Oblivious of the clouds passing by

The gentle breeze of the warm day

Awakened in me the mood to play

The green grassy fields of Summer

Embroiled Mother Earth in green cover.

Amazing imagery. But summer here in PH are so terrible I want to curl up in a dark cold room fearing the summer sun my burn and kill me like a vampire. Summer is ending here but I admire your poem and it's back to school for us.

it took me to my childhood memories... obviously summer season is always enjoyed by the young dynamic boys... still remember the school days wherein we played so many sports events...no matters how harsh the sun was, we never experienced tiredness. so, this short poem was special to me... good work neetha
