Just a kiss......

He kissed her

And she felt like a princess

Kissed by her prince Charming.

 

The feeling was magical

Ethereal

Pirouetting them into their own world.

 

And then she heard whispers

Behind them

Hushed whispers of wrath, shock

And utter disbelief.

 

Realization dawned on her that

They had been caught

Caught kissing.

 

The naïve lovers

Turned to face

A truly ‘experienced’ fiery mob.

 

‘No, please! I love him’ she plead

As the mob whacked up her

Dear Lover.

 

‘Shut up! You s**t.’

They roared.

‘Justifying your shameless act!’

 

‘It’s just a kiss!’ she plead

As she banged her hands

Against the shut doors

Of her doomed Life.

 

Why are people so blind?

It’s high time to realize that

We have the Right to Love!

A story within a poem.
I remember seeing a programme on tv not so long ago, about a couple who wanted to be together really badly but it was forbidden by the father of the daughter. This poem so reminded of that programme and the phrases/sentence/rhymes you used were spot on. It was an awful thing to watch but your poem was beautifully written.

This to me sounds more like a story rather than a poem. It could hide less and reveal more once being told in more clarity. I do feel the emotion though and the heightened feeling of being caught up. Good work. Keep writing. :)
