Hold My Hand Again

Hold My Hand Again

A Poem by Sunset Girl

Remember when

You held my hand

Just talked to me

Made me laugh

Made me not think

About what was going on

Remember when

You got me

To face my fears

Without even knowing

The look I had

When you said I did it

Remember how

You always

Jumped with me

Even when you’d done it

A thousand times

You’d do it again with me

Remember how

You loved holding my hand

If it meant helping me

We’d always do it together

I loved that about you

I miss that

I need you

To hold my hand

To jump with me

I need to know

You’re in this with me

Completely and always

I liked the poem. The want to find the place to hold the hands of someone you loved. A very good wish. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

:: if someone had written these words for me, i'd have been overjoyed, overwhelmed and thrilled to bits... there's so much love in your words that they cannot but move whoever reads them... beautiful work...
