Crystals... interesting natural creation. They are transparent to a degree, and are used for all kinds of things. But they can cast rainbows. So, perhaps the 'Thee' did a favour to him. He can shed colour on all those who are who are seeing him, flaws and all!
Truth t'will out! I think it was she who made the mistake! Loved this poem.
