St' Constantine & St' Elena a once beautiful port on the Black Sea coast & most popular with locals who would spend a week there paid for by the old Communist regime.... So great, no tourists.....
I love the way your description of the concrete in tatters gives us a feel for the battering power of the sea. Brings back thoughts of various favorite places worn down by waves. In your intro/explanation you reminded me of how I love my secret place in the mnts becuz it's mostly known by locals not tourists! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Hi, Neville; this made me think. It means that the sea has reclaimed a place where people once played, right?
I like the 'shards of long - fractured reinforced concrete'.
Are those poles--rebar sticking out of the water when it ebbs? Cos that's what I see as I read this.
I love the 'silver foam and spray', also.

Beautifully done Neville. Nature will eventually reclaim what was hers. I have seen it many times before. You have created some pretty special imagery here for your readers. A delightful read.

More reviews needed for this canvas-colourful of such descriptive words. Makes me think of one of our ancient sea-wall defences but, neither as romantic nor exotic in the dreary light of a wet early evening - Brit style!

very kind and much appreciated, thank you ... Neville
Sounds beautiful and muse worthy. I love old places and the way that nature takes parts of them over again. Melding them into both and neither. Nice write!
