Hark

Hark

A Poem by Neville
"

Blind to her whisper....

"

Hark

 Listen

Can you hear the wind singing

Hark

Can you hear the rain is crying

Be still

My love the earth is sighing

Indeed! Sshh and listen! Wondering when in turn they sing or cry or sigh; also hoping for them to dance or write or play. In the distance so it would seem, there is whispering and nodding and knowing. Thanks for sharing.

Have mercy, Neville--the wind seems to be the only cheerful one, unless it is a dirge she is singing.
It was a nice image, though; the wind singing. I do it all the time, sad songs when appropriate; happy songs of celebratory joy or perhaps worship when I feel move in that direction. Happy John Lennon's Birthday, Neville.

This is awesome and true with sad overtones. I wanted to keep on reading it like a lullaby to the individual elements, but then it turned into a lament for the planet *sigh!* (((NUGS))) Fondly, Margie

How utterly lovely. Brevity as its best and for those who can not hear may mother nature touch them instead. Did you know the sun can sing Neville? Nor did I until I investigated it.

A powerful poem. Poor earth is dying and few are showing concern. Your words hard, true and should scare us. Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry.
