Life is like that. The brightest lights burn out too soon- I am reminded of people I love, who struggle with physical and emotional trials that are hard to comprehend when one's mind and sight are two of life's most prized possessions - that can be stolen away but any number of accidents or illnesses

why I'm feeling this is about Mr.Trump (don't tell anybody I said so LOL). to be mind-blinded is the worst, and I think in one way or another their world will be going insane from within until out, ruining what it can be ruined.

money can't buy you love... can it.. bless ya my friend, thanks a billion..
Are we playing find the mind? lol Mine has been hallucinating all day! I'm singing one minute...asleep the next....blink and Im back to that colorless pain
I wonder how long the mind retains images before needing them refreshed. Couldn't imagine living in a world without sight, guess it must be much, much easier being born blind as you'd not know the beauty being missed.
Good early evening Neville, hope all is well with you :)

Loss of sight is probably what I fear most. A world without colour comes as a result of many illnesses or even accidents. I have often thought that someone born blind doesn't know anything else, so will just deal with it. Someone who has had sight and then loses it, would suffer a great loss. Then there's losing your mind, another huge loss. I hope if I ever lose my mind, I lose it completely and I remain content in my new world. Thought provoking. How do you describe colour to a person who has. never had sight at all. I don't know why but meditation came through strongly in your lines. Maybe a way of dealing with this would be through meditation.
