She is by no means

As pure or perfect

As she would have

You think

Although for some

She purrs and weaves

Between their feet

She claims she has

Everything except

The kitchen sink tho

Driven snow is whiter

And more pristine

I think

 

She is so very needy

Collecting poets for

A hobby

That is just the way it is

That is how

She gets her kicks

Dont tell me

You hadn’t got a clue

Are you really

Unimpressed I thought

By now you may

Have guessed

It’s not a bloody science

Is it after all….

Now that has got to be one unusual hobby Neville. I collected foreign stamps as a child of nine, still have my album somewhere. I also have collected some pieces of porcelain that I have treasured over the years, but collecting poets? How do you do that? Do you put them on show in a display cabinet? Of course you may do if you are referring to books, and books aren't a science. They are literature of course. This is deep. Deeper than the ocean but it still brought a smile to my face. Good morning.

I just love this! It reminds me of someone so amazingly pristine and a Rose pure white. She’s a princess in an ivory tower to whom mortal poets and scribes pay unconditional homages. Some people are just born lucky. Way to go N!

i couldn't help but think of Taylor Swift and how she is accused of acquiring and dumping boyfriends so that she can have fuel for writing her songs...
she probably has a shelf full of them.
this is quite clever, my friend...a hobby...:)))
i could think of worse things to collect...and there would be quite the variety in the collection, yes?

Many thanks for considering my words jacob... I quite like the turn of phrase, in relation to poets, it gives rise to many imaginings, at least in my head it does ... a shelf full of em, is a different kettle of fish altogether, although dont they say variety is the spice of life and all that jazz :)... N
