Coward

What is a coward?

 

You can call me a coward, because I am.

But not for the reasons you think.

Not because I have a soft voice or because I act shy around guys.

Not because I am afraid of spiders, or because I won’t go out after dark.

Not because I don’t like heights, or because I don’t want to dance.

I am a coward because I can’t do it.

I can’t take those small pills, waiting in that bottle I always carry around.

I am a coward because no matter how bad it hurts I can’t take the pain away.

So call me a coward if you want, but if I wasn’t a coward, I wouldn’t be here today.

Nice, and being a coward is commiting suicide, living life and going through the hard things in life is real courage. Keep up the writing :)
