Piano Lessons of Fury

Piano Lessons of Fury

A Poem by Nic
"

the title says it all this is a poem about fury in piano lessons (was an assignment for a class and nothing else i don't study piano)

"

"Piano Lessons of Fury"

Plank plank plank plank

Nope, that isn't the right sound

Plank plank plank plank

Much better but still not there

Look at me and listen

Says my piano teacher

Your fingers are all fucked up

It should be like this

And I watch her play

With scorn and jealousy

As she hit all the keys perfectly

I stared with my eyebrows knit

A frown on my face

I bit my lips to stop

My impulse to give an outburst

She played it again

Then looked at me

Now do you see?

I tried

Plank plank plank plank

No, no, no!

F**k you!

BAM!

And my hand smashes the piano keys

I take a bow

And that is the end of my piece
