Inevitable

Inevitable

A Poem by Nicole Renee

Make the wooden man talk,

Let him speak with words

Instead of gibberish,

And let him have the talent

Of all of mankind all together

With his little wooden fingers.

We wish we could make things

The unimaginable, with little winged

Fairies or monsters from the beyond.

But these things are just inevitable,

And the world must go on wearily,

Going one by one by one…

With just one spark to set it all ablaze.

Author's Note

Nicole Renee
I got the inspiration from when I was reading a bit of my story called 'House of Wolves' and Goo Goo Dolls. Whenever I think of a story, this is what I think of, wishing that the things that came to
my head to come to real life; in the motion picture. I think that's why I can never completely finish a novel. Lol.

Oh I love Goo Goo dolls, too. They're inspiring to listen to. Anyways, I'm not particularly sure about what your poem means but it reads elegantly. There's a quiet rhythm and a resounding voice in here. And somehow it sort of has a preaching tone of an elderly wise man.

Keep Writing. ^___^
