Sunshine Wishes

Sunshine Wishes

A Poem by Nicole Renee

I wish you where
Here right now with me,
Holding me, loving me,
Whispering in my ear
About the good times
We had that one summer day and
About feeling careless and carefree
With our lives that season!
Oh,those days were beautiful,
The sunshine falling down
On my face so gracefully,
The sea foam brushing against my toes,
While the sand cushioned the bottom of my feet.
And then that smile of yours was infectious.
But now you're gone from my life,
And I can never feel the touch of your skin
Against mine, craving the missed touch
You always seemed to give...
I wish I knew what happened so I knew
How fate made it turn out like
A really bad ending....

Yay for staying up late..I should be getting to bed, though.
I have to get up in the morning. o___o

By the way, you can interpret this anyway you want.
I can see this as a break up or a death of a loved one.
Either way! I might fix it up later on,I'm not sure.

A very good poem. Those wishes leave us wanting for a long time. I like the description and emotion of the poem. I like the hard ending. That is real life. A excellent poem.
