Ink Me

Ink Me

A Poem by Nicole Renee

Let the ink cover my skin
And tell its story with
My body as a blank canvas,
Roaming around the place
Until its finally told the story,
Expressing a love more than
Just words can tell.

Some eyes may not
Get the stories or why
Others would want them,
Yet I don't mind the pondering
Because it's the choice that I made
To leave a beauty mark upon my skin;
My devotion shows no bounds.

I am the canvas willing to be painted on.

Author's Note

Nicole Renee
There's a lot of things I've been thinking about lately, and tattoo designs and the meanings behind them have been one of them. I have so many ideas that I want to create and possibly (and most likely) get on me, and I already got one tattoo, which is a cute heart design I made up. I'm obsessed with drawing hearts, but I've been trying to find a good, solid meaning behind it besides...well, that. I'm planning on getting three more tattoos as well, especially with a specific one.

And yes, it's been a while since I've written something,so I feel a bit rusty
and I want to know if I should add more to the last sentence. :P

I have a few tattoos. In the Army. A tattoo for each place and any real bad event. Tattoos are the stories if we look at them with a honest eyes. I like the poem. You told a real story. A outstanding poem.
