Rainshowers

Rainshowers

A Poem by Nicole

Tiny sprinkles of dew,
Big drop of rain,
running down the window,
leaving trails of water,
like a miniature river,

the cold,
the water,
the drops,

soaking the earth,
glistening under the moon,
sky of darkness,
shear happiness,
wetting my skin.

I really enjoyed the flow of the second stanza. Very nicely done, it felt like it trickled down. Just like raindrops. Nice description. Well done.
