I Need You

I Need You

A Poem by Nicole

It’s the way he holds me,

I feel so soft in his arms,

All my problems

Melt away.

It’s the way I feel,

Butterflies in my stomach,

I feel light

Like air.

It’s the way he kisses me,

So gentile against my lips,

Exciting all of my

Senses.

The way he smiles,

Runs his hands through his hair,

He makes me laugh,

Holds me when I cry,

Carries me through it all.

Our fights,

My tears,

His anger,

Our hearts

Hurting.

Our laughs,

Our smiles,

Our times together.

I need you

Like clouds need rain

Like forests need trees

Like you need me

I need you.

This is truly sweet and beautiful. I think that so many people feel the same way but can not find the words to say it. how you put feelings in to words is is beautiful and so heartfelt. it makes it a joy to read your work.

A great piece. It puts love in a realistic perspective by including the good and the bad, and it is both cleverly and well written. Wonderful job. :D
