Soul AloneA Poem by NightMemories in the rain....
Raindrops fall through woven paths,
Straining to hear your content laughs. Winter winds blow Autumn leaves, A fearsome tug on my coat sleeves. Mourning silently towards the sky, Broken wings that cannot fly, Yearning to join you through a fall, Being bonded by the undead law. Eyes of the clearest waters blue, Leaving me here with not a clue, Of why I left you then and there, To fly away through drunken years. The light so bright like shining stars, A roar of the engine heard from Mars, Piercing screams to reach the heart, Slicing through me like a dart. Glancing at the heavy cloud, Cold heart beating yet so loud, Depression as a mist, leering by, Wishing for the courage yet, to die. © 2012 Night |
