Dog scolding Girl

A poem I wrote a long, long time ago, about a dog scolding his pet girl.

I know you can't understand me
At least try to though.
You are my human,
you feed me,
groom me,
and care for me.

But, this time you didn't,
you didn't feed me,
you didn't groom me,
you didn't care for me today.
I don't know if I can forgive you.
You promised you wouldn't forget.

You come home with your mommy,
and a big bag of treats for me.
You ask me to forgive you,
and you put you arms around my neck,
 and hug me.
Your my small human,
Of course, I forgive you!

Through the eyes of the dog, imagine you are the dog.

love your viewpoint in this poem! Such an "awww" moment for me, because I love animals and dogs are a lot of fun and they can seem to be scolding you with their eyes and facial expressions when you missed a meal or a walk to the park. Then they are so quick to forgive you, just bring home something in that bag for them, right? well-thought out arrangement of the form from start to finish. short and crisp in word choice and that's what you want for this particular subject matter...keep up the good work!
