Convergence

Convergence

A Poem by Nipplegrinder

She owns the universe
Her velvet sun rises
In a different direction
At her whim
Cosmic winds at her beck
She collides stars
And masters the chaos
Time is but folly
Eons are swallowed as sustenance
Belching planets and their moons
Commanding bedlam as supernovas
swirl and ebb
She touches the skies I see
The oceans we sail
She sets us all to dream
Of her perfect convergence

When one elicits these grand visions, she must be a powerful one ...

Oh, how I love a celestially spectacular metaphor for love and passion!! (As in my piece “Proclivity” among a few others), and yours does so well!!

She collides stars and masters the chaos-I love that!

This is a hot, explosive innuendo.. very vivid.

For me personally, I would remove the word “belching” ... while it may be an accurate action in regards to the eons being swallowed as sustenance and then out come planets and moons ha ha.. but that word, just kind of ruined the spectacular romance and passion taking place here.. just a personal perspective, that’s all. But seriously, even so, it’s still a galacticly stunning and cosmos-shattering write. Love it!!!
