Here I A.M.

Here I A.M.

A Poem by Working Class Scarecrow

I came back
here I am
at 5 in the
here I A.M.
thought you'd
be here too
but you did say
"probably"
the good news is
my nose is still
the same size
though it does
me no good
when I have
all this room
to swing it

empty bottles
from gone by
parties
this Christmas scarf
the life story
of a man
not yet dead
I can see my
breath in the
living room
but why go to
bed if I've nothing
to look forward to?

we elected each other
selected each other
for these winter nights
and deep neck bites
instead I find myself
losing myself at times
when I know you're
not with me
and that's ludacris
I'm told
but I plug my ears
and roll over
alone in your bed

is this merely
riding on the
edge of a coin
a game of chance?
a passing glance
in a pumpkin patch?
No,
"love" is the word
every moment
is an infinity
though I am
terribly fond of
these latest ones

Minimalistic form in expresion of richnes of life. All fall and all raise in creative stream of your mind. How just poetic can all be.
