Inside me

This poem is a result of a sleepless night,and we all know those aren't good for us.

It messes with my mind when people say how sad they are

When they say it hurts them so much

When they say they can feel it through their whole body

It messes with my mind when people say how happy they are

When they say it makes them smile

When they say their heart is beautifully wild 

It messes with my mind when people feel

Sadness,happiness,joy,pain,fear,anger,peace

Because it is hard to understand

When all I feel is a big blank

Just emptiness inside

Tearing me apart 

I try to feel it too so I cry and smile

But at the end all I have

Is a numb heart of mine

I do feel you my friend, I do feel this from time to time, the numbing feeling, the restlessness feeling... all that feelings is what makes us more human, we live, we cry, we smile, we feel - sad, happy, angered or fearful... etc... with all that, we still manage to cope up in our daily lives, what makes us more human is we never stop what makes us feel, just release those negative emotions in creativity like art or in words... keep writing my friend...

Oh, yes. I've experience that. I feel like I am floating so I don't care for any emotion because what I care for is how to make even a nap...for that 4 sleepless nights and days. That was many years ago.

Hope you overcome your problem in sleeping because it really affects your daily decisions.
