One shade of pain

It is short quote from one of my stories about pain , hope and faith

- So , tell me something , can you say that color is called light black ? , She said in a deep voice. 

- No , it's just black , there's no color called that , black is one shade ,he said quietly .

-Yeah , that's exactly the pain and sadness,  you can't say that is light pain or that is heavy  pain , it's one pain and it always hurts , it's killing me every day but i am helpless,  my death is the only solution , She explained .

 
- no don't you say that again , you will be healed , i am sure about it , you know what ! i think we can make the light black we can create it together by adding the hope,  faith and trust to our pain , you're going to be all right.  He replied in tears.

I love what you're discussing here becuz I can understand both sides. You've presented your philosophical ideas in a way that helps us think about each side that's expressing different ideas. The topic is very timely in the USA, becuz lately people are being very "black and white" about their political opinions, so nobody can get along, unless we all agree completely . . . if we don't agree, then we shut out the other person. This is the downfall of seeing things as totally black or totally white. You've picked an original way to show how this can happen (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

i love this. i do have a few suggestions though, if i'm jumping boundaries, my great apologies. i think it's kind of rushed- i think it would be great if you added more detail, added more conversation & more comfort between the two characters.

Actually l loved your suggestions appreciate it , i will put them in mind in my next story, but this one is just a dialogue from novel i wrote it before so i just cut that conversation from the novel and put it here without more details .... anyway your review made my day 😊

To feel someone's pain is not plain sailing...pain is always a balance of both light and dark, sometimes all we can do is catch the person when they fall, this is unique, I enjoyed reading...

Very thoughtful and thought provoking. We all lose hope, faith, and trust. That loss is called pain, but if we mix those things back into the darkness; we find a way to lighten it up. Even though it may feel like death, we must start anew with the good in life. Very strong message.
