Passing moment

Staring blankly at the screen,

noticing yet,

not seeing,

for the moment has passed,

and I shall put my heart to rest,

the pain is still here,

along with the broken pieces of my past.

Losing the one person,

that meant anything in this life.

has taken its toll

on my worthless soul.

so i tell you

this stealer of souls,

if you would have me still,

i gladly sell my soul,

for one more moment with her....
