Someday is a place

where everything is right.

No one has to go to bed

without any food at night.

In someday all bad marriages

are fixed to perfection.

And the right choices for our leaders

will win every election.

Someday is different

for everyone we meet.

To a rich man, Someday's different

than for someone on the street.

To many girls Someday includes,

a family, a house, a man,

who she knows will love her more,

than anyone else can.

For guys, Someday has something else,

A court, a field, some cash?

Or perhaps Someday's a man-cave

where anyone can crash.

To anyone with great big plans,

Someday is a huge change.

From poverty, and discrimination,

Someday would seem quite strange.

In Someday love is love,

no matter who you are.

And anything can happen.

Anyone can be a star.

Someday sounds fantastic,

But one thing we can't forget.

Is Someday can be dangerous

though it hasn't arrived yet.

If a person isn't careful

Someday can take away

the goals, the plans, the joys

-the good things about Today.
