 Nothing girl.

Human enough to share their feelings

But not generate her own

She listens with rapt attention

Though doesn't often know how to reply

 

She carries their burdens

And makes them hers

Because she has none of her own

She has nothing

She is nothing.

 

Always at their beck and call

She comes to see them through

She offers exactly what they need

She offers them nothing

So they can rest their "somethings" on her

 

She offers nothing

She offers herself

Nothing girl

She lives to create nothing out of something

She lives for them
