Waking Coma

Thoughts coming around at night ..
You try to close your eyes , but something keeps them
wide open
Wide open … !! your lungs are wide open to the scent of
pain
Your mind is wide open to new possibilities …
Different ones …
Strange how all of this seem so familiar !
Haven't I gone through this before ??
The things you haven't touched for days ..weeks maybe
…
Dusted …left aside …Betrayed ….just like your eyes…
That color of disappointment that embraces your irises ….
Leaving nothing but flashbacks …hundreds of them …
thousands of them ..
Millions of them …
Like a broken glass that is shattered into million pieces !
That's how those words left your heart !!
Why does a flashback become your home ?!
And reality is just ….another fantasy !!
Maybe that's why the moon disappears for a while
Maybe the moon wants to show the sun
That "he" isn't always shining !
But the sun couldn't see it
"she" was blinded by her own golden rays !
Is it possible??? ….my mind is lost …
My eyes followed the stars ..climbed from one to another
A burning picture inside of my mind
Sat fire to my eyes and I couldn't sleep …
The thoughts came tossing and turning
Each one left its voice …and I couldn't …I couldn't close
my ears …
Lifeless ?? No.. I was not lifeless …
But I was in my own " waking coma "…
When you feel you've finally found the truth
Yet you are numb …
The truth could not set you free !!!
The truth has thrown you into a new prison
You are a prisoner of your own mind …
And the key is right there …in your hands
But …why are you so frightened of setting yourself free ?
Why are you so frightened of saying so much , when you
are not
Saying a thing ?
I am sleepless in my own dreams
I am..Walking blindly in a waking Coma
