Left to Die

Left to Die

A Poem by Nutella Wolf [Alias: Samantha Klein]

I remember you
Your warm embrace
So tight it was like a cage
Or was it a dream?
That's right. I remember it all now.
You lured me in
Had this cage
But why would I notice?
You were all I saw.
Then you closed the cage
My heart was wound up tight
I couldn't see the latch
But I saw you walking away
And knew that you had left me to die
