Veil

Veil

A Poem by ObscurityNone
"

Situations cover

"

Blackened veil go smother them

Lend ill hands to suffering

Find remains of a charge taker

Bring the bones, bury them inside you

Sell it all, heart, soul, maybe mind

Replace with salt, vinegar, and wine

Step back a chance and try a taste

Global mission, futile debate

Force a view, send them on down

Pass them to the all-expected, un-expecting

Suspicions few, views narrow

Subjected thoughts strike marrow

Stream the line, entities amass

Smash the project

One most wholly, most natural

Creationist, Atheist, Scientist, divide

End it all with hate, indifference, or ill placed pride

Whichever it goes here I stand

Leader among none, follower of one

Me and only me, for I am a free man

The traits of one who takes charge (a leader), their very foundation, and instill them within you.
