Thank You.

This poem is about how we thank others for helping us but the same people do not appreciate that we help them too. Just a little tip for people who have friends like this, LEAVE THEM.

Thank You.

 

When the night is cold,

I'm alone.

When the day is warm,

I'm with you.

When the sky turns dark,

I'm alone.

When the sky turns bright,

I'm with you.

When it's Winter,

I'm alone.

When it's Summer,

I'm with you.

 

See how much my life have changed without you?

I want you. I need you.

In fact, I crave you.

Without you, my life would've been a mess.

 

I love you.

I love you more than you think.

 

Thank you for giving my life a meaning.

Thank you for giving me a reason to wake up and breathe.

Thank you for all the things you have done for me.

 

But don't you think it's time for you to thank me?

It is painful and particularly lonely when we become a victim of unrequited friendship/love. This duality of partnership between the taker and the giver is unhealthy and can leads to numerous relationship complications. This is emotionally highlighted within the structure of your write – sad, but poignant … :-)
