Life and Feelings

Life and Feelings

A Poem by OkieWonKenokie
"

poem that i tried with no rhyming in it......

"

Life is

Like a dream you never wake from

That you never can lose feelings

And you always get hurt too much.

Hours that past are

Like a long, a*s painful clutch of desire

But with not having anyone there.

Killing you on the inside just a bit.

No one loving you is

Like being alone for a lifetime

Or maybe even worse than that.

Calling you to find someone you love.

My dreams are

Always consisting of you

Even if you are a painful thought in my mind.

I suffer from many problems.

The feelings of

Being touched where I was never touched before

And having the sense of comfort are

More than just that.

My dream is

A never-ending dream of happiness

And love from one another.

I cherish this dream.

Saying I love you is

More than saying I like you,

It gives a sense of meaning to me

That you have yet to understand.

You are

No more than a pleasant memory

That I try not to lose.

I keep all my thoughts of you to myself.

I am

Just a person that is used and torn

Even if I don’t deserve it.

I have made many mistakes I regret.

Love is

A feeling you can never change

Or try to forget about.

If you forget your love, you die some inside.

Life is

A long term learning lesson

Whether you learn much or not.

Always live your life as much as you can.

A lot of wisdom in your words. We must learn from mistakes and go forward. If we are lucky we may be smarter and wiser. I like the poem. With each line the poem got stronger leading to a very strong ending. A excellent poem.

I love this poem, and even though it didn't rhyme, it still carried itself very well :)

Wow girly, you dropped the rhyming out of this one and it flowed much more naturally and your point was beautifully stated. This is my favorite so far in that it flows really nicely. I can kinda hear your voice for what it is. Not that rhyming is bad, its not as long as it flows as naturally as this was spoken. Nice job.
