Out of Body, Out of Mind

Out of Body, Out of Mind

A Poem by Meghan
"

I feel guilt very intensely and often needlessly.

"

A rotten heart

Beating, stained the hardwood floor

My hands

Bloodied and stinging

I was exsanguinated

Naught for lack of love

But from intoxication

With guilt

The irrelevant teeth imbedded still

In the blood-caked, rancid slab

Ostracized from my pale and thirsty body

For ill moral conduct
