{Faint Attic}

As I walk in the valley of

the shadow of death I

shall fear no evil

for the lord is with me,

a prayer caster.

As the devil bullies

I'm convinced to walk

through my life living faster.

Falling into the attic abyss

the call of destiny grows faint,

for all the days I wept in shame

now I "thank you" paint.

The call pushes ahead of silence,

there's beauty in the quiet hope

of all things taken by such

justified violence.

As I enter the kingdom

of unchartered lands

I notice God grants me

inner bliss of true nature

so I discover a world turned

over with only symptoms of

myself to hover.

As I walk in the entry

of darkness I shall

take no prisoners

for the lord is guiding,

far from me is lucifer hiding.

Death comes on swift wings

to whomever opens the wrong chest,

inner lessons reveal a finer test.

The lord is my savior,

I shall bear witness.

The lord is goodness of source,

it is of our willingess to believe

which takes the heart's

storm by force.

Jesus carries my memories,

he delivers me from harm,

what pain I feel is for motivation.

I can be more than what I am,

an opportunity lends arm.

I love Jesus. He is awesome! It was absolutely beautiful, Courtney. It made God happy! Because you used your poetry to glorify him. :) Don't worry, everything will be well in the long run.

Aww..thanks. I have quite a few like it, but religion is a touchy subject for most and I don't like feeling attacked so I tend to shy away from posting each one in large amounts all at once.

Courtney, this one is soul-touching and quite a masterpiece.
