Waving Lady

Waving Lady

A Poem by Omikron

Waving lady, waving lady
Drives me crazy that waving lady
Sorry Macy, though we speak daily
I'll have to greet this waving lady
Phone put in pocket, deep breaths feel weighty
Not too shady, smile bit too hazy
Hello to you, waving lady
It must've been years, it feels like eighty
Oh, you have a husband and baby
A house and you drive a nice Mercedes
Who would've thought we would ever be ready
Two high school rebels that dressed too racy
Though you had your dreams, I was quite lazy
Time sure flies, you're moving steadily
It was a pleasure, we'll meet again maybe
Waving lady, waving like crazy
Swallowed by the weather, so cold and rainy
Waving lady, quickly fading
And just like that, my heart is aching
