Jubilation

Jubilation

A Poem by Dream Weaver

The aroma of sweet jasmine blows through
the early morning air, the sound of babbling
brooks simply music to my ears.

Oaks Elms and Pines standing tall in my view
another day in this life keeps me inspired
and true.

Timid creatures scurry about the forests
floor, just a wonderous day or something
much more?

The colors invite me like paint to a brush
could I duplicate perfection or sit back
and hush?

Nature at its finest so tranquil so surreal
every emotion dynamic every thought that I
conceal.

The birds above me sing a grand song of
jubilation, just so inspiring this magical
creation!

This is really majestic and classical, I loved the form of it. It was compact yet easy to read as silk. The fact that you named some flowers and trees really added another level of depth for me.

You paint a very easy place to visualize and therefore is relatable to a broad audience, well done.

mmmm jasmine. And I can hear the birds outside... Pretty nice background sound while reading this. Your poems are always so full of imagery... especially the nature themed ones. Love this pic choice too!

Yes, nature does inspire.. Love the 1st verse .. The sense of smell & listening awakened by your words is quite lovely.. I loved how your poem encompasses "the" magical world of trees & nature ... Very uplifting poetry, SS ...

I like the poem, but I think the first stanza should end like this so the rhyme scheme fits. Instead of "The aroma of sweet jasmine blows the early morning air, the sound of babbling brooks simply music to my ears" change the second line to "the sound of babbling brooks so simple and fair."

Just a thought. (:
