MARCH WINDS AND KITES!

MARCH WINDS AND KITES!

A Poem by Miss Sharon
"

The winds of March and other tales!

"
MARCH WINDS AND KITES!

She blows in like an angry hen
And fluffs each human hair
The ladies skirts and old mens' hats
Fly up without a care

A chill that's left from winters' store
Still blushes every cheek
And we're so busy trying to cope
That we can hardly speak.

Now I don't mind the pristine snow
Or blustery, howling winds
I'm happy just to fly my kite
With all that nature sends!

Flying a kite! Tis like tossing an idea into the air and watching it float away! We have kite events down here, some on the beach, some on the heights.. depending on size and reason for the event. To watch them go and go, playing the thermals is just beautiful.. absolutely beautiful.

As for March WINDS.. 'angry hens' - such a wonderful description of them! In fact, don't think I'll ever think of them as anything different from hens flurfing their feathers up a'tremble, waddling back, forth and around!

Great post, Miss Sharon.

You're very welcome, Sharon.
really nice to read a happy poem...and one that represents the idea --in spite of what life throws at us...we stand firm and smile.
