Sparrows

Sparrows

A Poem by Carl Taylor

I heard my sparrow sing when it saw you today

The day that rained cold drops inspiring poems across the town

My sparrow flew through it

I heard it sing

Singing, singing in the rain

I hope the other birds do not block my sparrows flight

But most of all I hope your sparrow never dies
