CAUSES

My cause "DOMESTIC ABUSE"

A person chooses a Cause in which they are passionate about

They do not do it for money or to gain certain clout

Usually it's something that has affected their life

They can easily identify because they suffered an similar blight

　

Domestic Violence is my Cause.....

It's a issue, I feel has been put on pause!

I feel to the world, it simply does not matter

I can't walk away because I know it's effects and the lives it shatters

　

Lives being taken in a whisk

These women and children are at risk!

While the world sits in silence

Every second of the day someone dies from this calculated violence.

I want these women to be heard

I want everyone to stop and listen to their every word.

This is not a game; it's violence

It's time to stop this madness and end the silence!

It is hard to try to help others, you have loads of courage and patience, I tried to help my best friend several times because of this, but when she did not wanted to leave the violence, and always found excuses which ended up with" I should have...if I hadn`t...It was my fault he..." I lost patience and left her to her own device...something which I feel guilty about often but...
