Echoes on the Mist

Echoes on the Mist

A Poem by 1VJ
"

whorling sumptuous seascapes

"

Listen intently to echoes
   wafting off the mist of
   exalted mountains whispering,
as designed poetry 'neath ether
   rapturously incites secrets
      of versed journeys' resolve
 while quintessence reawakens
  'tween passages of stardust
     and eclipsed lunar moons,
knowledge of a lofty universe
   lavishing abundant resources,
      whorling sumptuous seascapes

This reminds me stories: untold stories; unknown stories. I seldom find myself walking in beautiful places, or looking at the houses in my streets and just wondering about all the hidden stories in them. Sometimes the wind and sounds of the seas feel like as if they're teasing us with untold secrets. We've all shared things and places; perhaps at different times and age, and we will never know about them. I find that concept so fascinating.

Beautiful piece. It brought such wonder to my table.

your level of cerebration is daunting...for me, your poetic expressions are a 'one breath' experience; if i pause to breathe, i have to begin again

Thanks very much Valentine.
Who has walked down the same seashore we walk upon? What lovers have kissed as they heard echoes of the ocean hitting the shoreline? The world is filled with poetry and if inanimate objects could whisper secrets to us, we would never run out of poetry. A dreamy magical write. I liked it. Lydi**

You are welcome dear Paloma.
This poem consists of almost all of the nature. Which you have elegantly expressed through the sound and sensation of a poem. It is very beautiful.

Nature is all about emotion and I love how you use its voice to give us a taste of yours. The imagery is a majestic exhale. I love the expression :)

'Majestic exhale' I love that, thanks kindly!
There is a disquiet I was not expecting by its title. There is a seething under this ... something big, and waiting, just beneath the surface. Some very interesting poetry of late ...
