She was finally gone

She was finally gone

A Poem by PandaPeaceful

I feel myself fading away.
Every cut, every tear,
every breath I take,
is another reminder,
of the things I have done.

I stand in front of the mirror,
analyzing the new me.
Who is she?
I clasp my hands around my hair,
and visualise the past.

But she was gone,
like a melting tear,
she was gone.
My eyes tighten as I realize,
she was finally gone.

Thank you!
Schizophrenia I think can happen too between the old and new You, the moment of realisation when You wake up looking to Your face, anew, feeling it's over! glad it is!
