Pieces

Pieces

A Story by Kathryn Smith

Scratches down your back

You did a number on me

But honestly baby who's counting?

I did a number on you

But honestly

Baby

Who is counting?

And all pieces fall

Right into place

Get caught up in a moment

Lipstick on your face

You know I'm not a bad girl but

I do bad things with you

In the dead of night

I feel his breathing

His restlessness

His yearning

And in the daylight

The wind kisses my back

Addiction

We cant get enough

Breathe me in

Breathe me out

Sleep forever

Together

Drink it in

And glow

I linger in his mind

His thoughts

His words

Actions

And in my bed

At night

I ache

For more

And he knows

I liked this poem. Honest and strong thoughts shared dear friend. It is sad what we can do to each other. Love can be sweet and can be bloody. Thank you for sharing your amazing words and thoughts.

Wow so amazingly brittle and scathing yet erotic. So much pathos on s page of poetry and so brutally honest!
