Thaw

Thaw

A Poem by Kathryn Smith

The world is dead

Cold Bones

Words swimming

Swarming

In her frantic head

Cant you be human?

They ask

Don't be so sad

Try not to worry

Why hide?

Why hinder?

Why lag behind?

Do not despair

Go against your draw

Get ready to thaw

The sun will rise

And warm the earth

Your heart will heal

And love

Will never die

Some people never understand all of our pain in life do they? Great work!
